Holly you write so beautifully. I’ve been meaning to make this comment every time I listen to one of your intros in the MiD podcast - they are just exquisitely put together. Not too saccharine or cliche, but still moving and with so much insight. I think basically perfect writing and it is a joy to experience. Thank you for your art.

So well said Holly! Unfortunately in Australia we have so many wonderful regional towns but the services are lacking because the focus has been on the big cities for so long. How any "normal" family can afford to buy a house in the city these days is just mind boggling to me....!

I too moved to a regional area outside of Brisbane.

I agree wholeheartedly with you that although the area is wonderful to live in on so many levels. Rather than cars planes & trains . I do miss the convenience of having restaurants etc close by. I wouldn't move back despite this . It truly is wonderful to be in the countryside.
